Pearl Gosnell

March 26, 1922 — September 6, 2014

Pearl Louise Johnston Gosnell, 92, of Asheville, passed away at the Western NC Baptist Home on Saturday, September 6, 2014. A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Boyd Duffus Johnston and Gertrude Buckner Johnston. Pearl was a member of the West Asheville Baptist Church and retired from Magnavox.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Conley DeWitt Gosnell; son, Bobby Gosnell and 5 brothers.
She is survived by her children, Charles Gosnell, Eddie (Peggy) Gosnell and Debbie Stroupe; eleven grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren, and cat, KK.
The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Monday (today) at Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn's Chapel of Faith. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, September 9th in the Chapel of Faith, Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn with Rev. Steve Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
