Pearl Hall

Pearl Hall, age 87, passed away on Sunday, November 07, 2010, at her residence. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late William Winfield and Della Bolden Christopher. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Hall; a son, Roger Hall; and a brother, Clarence Christopher. She is survived by two sons, Charles Hall of Taylors, SC and Michael Hall (Becky), of Anderson, AL; a daughter, Judy Sellers (Terry), of Canton; two sisters, Ruby Rector and Jonnie McCormick both of Hampton, VA; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2010, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Dustin James officiating. Burial will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park in Candler. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Canton, 29 Newfound Street, Canton, NC 28716.
