Pearl Clark

Westfield, NC-Pearl Ledbetter Clark, age 79, formerly of Canton, died Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at the Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.

She was a native of Haywood County and lived in the Winston-Salem area since 1969. She was a daughter of the late Jonathan and Allie Chambers Ledbetter. She was married to the late Jerry Willard Clark who died in 1992 and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Horace and Thurman Ledbetter. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Williams of Westfield, NC and Betty Williams of Pfafftown, NC, two sons, Richard Clark of Kernersville, NC and Ted Clark of Walnut Cove, NC, three brothers, James and Roy Ledbetter of Waynesville and Mack Ledbetter of Canton, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 17, 2004 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services with Reverend Kim Milner officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Canton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
