Pearley Luther

Pearley Mae Luther, 86, of Asheville , passed away Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the Brian Center of Weaverville. She was a daughter of the late Mary Holt and Arthur Tweed. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Christine Gosnell, two sisters and a brother.

Pearley was a wonderful mother and hard worker. She loved her flowers and her gardening.

Survivors include her daughter, Geneva Robinson of Winter Haven, FL, son, Dale Luther of Asheville, six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, three sisters, Nanny Riddle of Mars Hill, Grace Riddle and Jeannette Fore of Enka and a brother, Grover Tweed of Marshall.

Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Wednesday at the Chapel of Faith at Forest Lawn with the Rev. Homer Tweed officiating. The family will receive friends at the chapel an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the park.
