Peggy Knowles

Waynesville - Peggy Willene Hiatt Knowles, age 74, of 479 Evergreen Farm Circle died Monday, February 26, 2007 at her residence. She was a native of Jackson, Tennessee but had resided in Haywood County for the past 20 years and was a daughter of the late William and Lorrene Duke Ragland. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Knowles, and a brother, Butch Ragland. Peggy was employed by Hydrill Manufacturing and was a religious scholar. She is survived by four sons, Jim Coltrane and his wife, Martha, of Canton, Robert Coltrane of Riverside, CA, Scott Knowles and his wife, Deana, and Brian Knowles, and his wife, Gail, all of Cincinnati, OH; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007 at her residence at 479 Evergreen Farm Circle in Waynesville.
