Phil Donnelly

Roswell, Georgia-Phil C. Donnelly, age 87, formerly of Haywood County, died Sunday, July 27, 2003 at Mariner Health Care in Atlanta, Georgia.

He was born in Warren, Ohio on February 7, 1916 to Charles and Sadie Stock Donnelly. Mr. Donnelly retired as president from Thoro System Products, Inc. in 1981 with over 30 years of service. He embraced life through his love for family, business relationships which took him all over the world, and his passion for the game of golf. He was an active member of Cruso United Methodist Church and enjoyed his home in the Great Smoky Mountains.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 63 years, Ann Mae Donnelly; daughter, Marsha D. Beisel and her husband, Robert T. Beisel; two grandchildren, Kurt R. Beisel and Jennifer B. Arnold and her husband, Jason G. Arnold; great-granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Arnold; brother, Thomas R. Donnelly; and sister, Martha C. Linn.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2003 at Cruso United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in New Cruso Cemetery.
