Phyllis Ensley

Phyllis Murray Ensley, age 76, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2012 at Pisgah Manor Nursing Home. A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Lebo and Gladys Stamey Murray. Phyllis was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Jerry Ensley of Asheville, and Reverend Richard Dale Ensley and his wife, Arlene, of Craig, Alaska; three sisters, Martha Lance and Bobbie Whitted, both of Asheville, and Jackie Lance of Candler; two brothers, Ben Murray of Candler and Bruce Murray of Harrisonburg, Virginia; and one grandson, Andrew Dale Ensley. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at New Hope Baptist Church with the Reverend Ricky Gibson and Reverend Leo Kuykendall officiating. Burial will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Wells Funeral Home of Canton is in charge of the arrangements.
