R. Conklin

Maggie Valley, R. Jean Conklin, 88, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at The Hermitage. A former resident of Lake Worth, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Burt and Reba Jones Broshears. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Richard Conklin who died in 1989. Jean did Jazzercise in her 50's and 60's and enjoyed singing and traveled with the USO when she was 15. She is survived by two daughters, Connie Jean Conklin and Janice Rae Conklin; a brother, James Broshears; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. No services are planned.
