Ralph Campbell

"1918 – 2016" Canton – James Ralph Campbell, age 98, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016 at Pisgah Manor Health Care Center. A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Adelbert Harold and Eva Dell Young Campbell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Doris Moore Campbell; three sisters, Frances Moody, Eva Fowler, and Mary Sue Campbell; two brothers, George and Carl Campbell; and one son-in-law, Bruce Harris. The family would like to express their gratitude for the excellent care for their mother and father while at Pisgah Manor. He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Harris of Candler; three sons, Leroy Campbell and wife, Susan, of Candler, Clive Campbell of Canton, and Alan Campbell of Black Mountain; one brother, Bill Campbell and wife, Marie, of Candler; two granddaughters and their husbands, Christina and Richard Rowe and Robin and Mark Paine; and three great-grandsons, Coleson and Landon Rowe, and Alex Paine. At Ralph's request, no services will be held.
