Ralph Robertson

Leicester– Ralph Henry Robertson,66, of Marion, formerly of Leicester, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Mission Memorial Campus.

Ralph was a native of Buncombe County and a son of the late William “Slim” and Savannah Lusk Robertson.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James “Dicky” Robertson.  Ralph was a loving family man and “Papaw Ralph” to four grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Dawn Brockmeier Robertson, of Marion; one daughter, Sheena Surrett of Swannanoa; one son, Christopher Solesbee of Swannanoa; two sister, Wanda Haynes of Leicester and Jessie Hoglen of Candler; one brother, William “Bill” Robertson of Leicester; four grandchildren, Carson, Ravin, Alexis and Maliki; special friend, Linda Martinez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Considering the current public health situation, a graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 18, 202 at Teagues Chapel Cemetery in Madison County with the Reverend Wyllene Skipper officiating.
