Ralph Robinson

Jacksonville, FL, Ralph Roy Robinson, age 86, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Cedar Hills Nursing Home in Jacksonville, Florida. Ralph was a native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Gordon Allen and Vaudie Cole Robinson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death his wife, Rita Mae McElrath Robinson who died in 2005;two daughters, Margaret Ann Robinson, Patricia Matilda Jones and a brother, James Robinson. He was a 23 year United States Navy veteran, having served in World War II, Korea Conflict and the Vietnam Era. Ralph was a member of the Hominy Masonic Lodge #491 AF&AM. He is survived by a son, Richard Allen Robinson and wife, Paula, of Jacksonville, FL; a daughter, Annetta Marie Reynolds of Pensacola, Fl;; a sister, Lura Wright of Asheville; a brother, Frank H. Robinson of Candler and three grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday September 13, 2010 at Hice Hill Cemetery.
