Ralph Tiger

Clyde, Ralph Dudley Tiger, age 86, of 817 Ferguson Cove Loop, died Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at his residence. A native of Morristown, New Jersey, he was a former resident of Maine and New York State and had lived in Haywood County for the past eleven years. Dud was the son of the late Ralph and Mildred Scherr Tiger. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Marion Tiger, who died in March, 2008. He was a WWII Navy veteran serving as a Flight Instructor. Mr. Tiger retired from the Automobile business in 1980. He and Marion moved to NC in 1998. They were members of the Crabtree United Methodist Church, where both were choir members. He is survived by two sons, Richard P. Tiger, and his wife, Karen, of Woolwich, Maine and Lawrence J. Tiger, and his wife, Bonnie, of Clyde; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date in December.
