Randall Osborne

Clyde — Randall "Randy" Blount Osborne, age 52, of 55 Briar Lane, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at his residence. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, he was the son of Henry Blount and Maxine Evelyn Medford Osborne. He was an electrical engineer and designer at Sutton and Kennerly Engineering. Randy was an active member of WNC Woodworkers Association and also an active member of Woodland Baptist Church, where he sang in the choir. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 10 years, Amy Morrison Osborne; three sons, Jonathan Osborne "Will" of Texas, Nicholas Osborne and his wife, Whitney, of Waynesville, and Bradley Osborne of Florida; one daughter, Catherine Parris and her husband, Jeff, of Waynesville; two stepsons, Joseph Metcalf and fiancé, Chasity Benson, of Greeneville, Tennessee and Timothy Holt of the home; one stepdaughter, Chasity Helton and her husband, Tim, of Greeneville, Tennessee; one sister, Jill Osborne and her special friend, Tracy, of Waynesville; mother and father-in-law, David and Judy Morrison of Greeneville, Tennessee; brother-in-law, Allen Morrison of Washington, DC; four grandchildren, Logan Osborne, Abby Helton, Koltan Parris, and Brooklyn Metcalf; and niece, Mady Osborne. Funeral services will be held at Woodland Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 6, 2010 with Reverend Alan Davis and Reverend Ted Reeves officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
