Randall Summey

Randall Lane "Randy" Summey, age 58, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, he was the son of James Edward Summey and the late Sue Carolyn Creasman Summey, who died in 1996. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Randy loved music, bowling, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and Pisgah baseball. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife of 20 years, Cheryl M. Summey; two sons, Nathan Summey of the home and Robert Summey of Greensboro; two sisters, Angela Summey Bartley and Lisa Summey Stutts of Greensboro. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Jeff King and Reverend Daniel R. Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
