Rebecca Clinton

Clyde, Rebecca Owens Clinton, age 44, of 84 Chambers View Drive, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at her residence. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of Walter Reid Owens and Carolyn Kirkpatrick Bishop and her husband, Grover. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 18 years, Michael Clinton; her children, Lily Elaine, Brantley Owen, and Matthew Isaac Clinton, all of the home; a sister, Terri Lynn Owens (Lee Knowles) and nephew, Jonah Alexander Knowles of Arden; and maternal grandfather, Tommy Kirkpatrick. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday June 19, 2013 at New Covenant Church with Reverend Nick Honerkamp, Reverend George Rolland and Sarah Rolland officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at New Covenant Church. Memorials may be made to the family.
