Rebecca Robinson

November 28, 1945 — August 12, 2011

Rebecca Caldwell Robinson, age 65, of the Cruso community died on Friday, August 12, 2011, at MedWest – Haywood. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Clara Belle Sorrells Caldwell. She was also preceded in death by a son, Bo Conard and a grandson, Brandon Webb. Rebecca loved crocheting, gardening, and cheering on her favorite race car driver, Jimmie Johnson. She also enjoyed fishing for trout in Cherokee with the love of her life and soul mate, Kenneth. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Kenneth Robinson; two daughters, Angela Dean and Teresa Stiles and her husband, Clifford, all of Canton; a brother, Richard Caldwell and his wife, Vicky, of Waynesville; five grandchildren; Christina, Shaun, and Dustin Webb, Amber Lee, and Nathan Stiles; and seven great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2011, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home & Cremation Services. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
