Rebecca "Becky" Hill

Rebecca "Becky" Lynn Hill, age 57, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Silver Bluff Nursing Home.

A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late James Robert and Margaret Elizabeth Himes Hill.  Becky was a member of Long’s Chapel United Methodist Church and was employed with HVO.  She loved attending church, bingo and most importantly loved the Lord.  Becky enjoyed being around people and was a "social butterfly".

Becky is survived by numerous cousins.

A special thanks to Silver Bluff Nursing Home for the great care and compassion shown to Becky.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 25, 2021, in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Tracy Smith officiating.  Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Long’s Chapel United Methodist Church, 133 Old Clyde Road, Waynesville, NC 28785.

The care of Miss Hill has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
