Reva Wright

Reva Boydston Wright, age 90, formerly of Washam Street, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Pigeon Valley Rest Home. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Lemuel and Daisy Burkhart Boydston. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Corbin Wright, Sr., who died in 1991; a son, Wilbur Corbin "Butch" Wright; and a daughter, Anita Lynn "Zoolie" Wright. She was a bookkeeper at Powell Lumber Company and a member of Canton Central United Methodist Church. She is survived by her grandson, Jared Corbin Wright. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2013, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Michael Jordan officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
