Rhonda Morgan

Waynesville, Rhonda Kay Ratcliffe Morgan, age 53, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at her residence in Snellville, Georgia after a two-year battle with cancer. Born on September 17, 1960, she was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Shirley Fish Ratcliffe. Rhonda graduated from Tuscola High School and later married the love of her life, Joey C. Morgan. Joey and Rhonda moved to Georgia where they started their own business while raising three children. Rhonda was a member of Snellville United Methodist Church and thoroughly enjoyed the beach and spending time with family, especially her five grandchildren. Rhonda leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Joey C. Morgan; children, Zachary Morgan (Lauren Purcell), Courtney Parrott (Dustin), and Melissa Burton; grandchildren, Jamison, Alexander, Jackson, Dylan, and Jake; a sister, Renee Ratcliffe Bridges (Greg); brother, Randy Ratcliffe (Amy); and an abundance of other loved ones. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2014 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Bob Dyer officiating. Burial will follow at Ratcliffe Cove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
