Richard Armstrong

Richard Frederick Armstrong, 71, of Hendersonville, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017. He was born in Conneaut, OH to the late Richard Armstrong and Dolores Humphreys Hicks. He graduated from Rowe High School in 1964 and received his degree in Accounting and met his wife, Rebecca, at Erie Business School. During the Vietnam War he served in the US Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca O'Dell Armstrong; sons, Michael (Julie), Christian (Mandy) and Stephen Armstrong; grandchildren, Dylan, Brandon and Brooklyn Armstrong; step-father, Larry Hicks; 3 brothers, and one sister.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, July 20th in the Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn Chapel of Faith. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial with Military Honors will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
