Richard Miller

Canton-Richard Craig Miller, age 75 of 135 Miller Cove Road, died Thursday, June 5, 2003 at Memorial Mission Hospital.

He is a son of the late Olen and Viola Roberts Miller and was a member of Dutch Cove Baptist Church. He was also a life member of the Disabled American Veterans.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Francis A. Miller, two sons, Gary Miller and his wife Barbara of Canton, Terry Miller and his wife Barbara of Arden, two sisters, Jean Howard of Canton and Marie Hare of Richmond, VA, one brother, Cecil Miller of Canton, 3 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2003 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes with Reverend Lloyd Fish officiating. Burial will follow at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery on Old Clyde Road. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ronnie Howard, Randy Howard, Dale Anders, Ricky Anders, Kenneth Johnson and Chris Massie.
