Richard Sprinkle

Richard G. Sprinkle, Sr., 83, of Candler, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 24th at the Keever Solace Center. Richard was the youngest child of the late Letus E. and Amy Gantt Sprinkle.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Mark Sprinkle.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Frances Wheeler Sprinkle; children, Jan (Rick) Robinson, Amy, Keith, Richard (Jane) Sprinkle, Jr. of Montana, Mike and Larry Wheeler; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He also leaves on this earth more family and friends than could ever be counted.
The family wishes to express profound gratitude to the staff at the Keever Solace Center, for their medical professionalism intertwined with God's special love and kindness. They would also like to thank his special CarePartners nurse, Cynthia.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at 5:00PM on Sunday, September 27th at Hominy Baptist Church in Candler.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to John Keever Solace Center, Hominy Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
