Rickie Dale Plemmons

Rickie Dale Plemmons, 72, of Candler passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024, at CarePartners Hospice following a period of declining health.  A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Marshall and Cornelia Plemmons. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Ronnie Plemmons and Roger Plemmons.

Rickie worked most of his life in the construction industry. He loved fishing, playing pool, camping and was a big NASCAR fan. 

He is survived by his life partner of 41 years, JoAnn Shook; two brothers, Randy and Rusty Plemmons and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 5, 2024, in the Wells Chapel of Faith in Candler with Nick Plemmons officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 p.m.

The care of Mr. Plemmons has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Candler.
