Rita Robinson

Candler-Rita Mae McElrath Robinson, age 81; formerly of Bryson Road, died Sunday, January 16, 2005 in Orange Park, Florida. She was a native of Henderson County, North Carolina and was a daughter of the late Grover and Ada Cairnes McElrath. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Ann Robinson. Mrs. Robinson was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ralph R. Robinson of Jacksonville, FL; formerly of Candler, two daughters, Anetta Marie Reynolds of Pensacola, FL and Patricia Matilda Jones of Atlanta, GA, one son, Richard Allen Robinson of Jacksonville, FL, one sister, Mary Ruth McFalls of Candler, one brother, Jack McElrath of Mooresville, NC and 3 grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2005 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes. Reverend Neil Haynes will officiate. Burial will follow at Hice Hill Cemetery in Candler. The family will receive friends from 12:45 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
