Robert Blanton

Waynesville-Robert Bryan Blanton, age 36, 458 Westwood Circle, died Saturday, January 29, 2005. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of Robert A. and Patricia Jean Ledbetter Blanton of Waynesville. He was a disabled employee of the US Park Service and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Cassie Gill, of Fayetteville; a brother, Reverend Allen Blanton and his wife, Debbie, of Canton; and a niece, Trisha Blanton of Canton. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at Green Hill Cemetery with Reverend Allen Blanton officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of his parents at 458 Westwood Circle, Waynesville. Serving as pallbearers will be Sammy Ray, Dino Mintz, Wayne Crawford, Steve Duncan and Wayne and J.R. Ledford. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Center Pigeon Baptist Youth Mission Trip, 224 Center Pigeon Road, Canton, NC 28716.
