Robert Dukes

Clyde, Robert W. Dukes, age 63, of Bobcat Trail, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at his residence. A native of Opa Locka, Florida and a former resident of Port Saint Lucie, he had resided in Haywood County for the past three and a half years. He was the son of the late Woodrow and Louise Harbourt Dukes and was also preceded in death by one brother, William E. Jackson. He was employed in the swimming pool industry for more than 35 years in Florida and was a member of the National Spa and Pool Institute. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Diana Hoerber Dukes; one brother, James Jackson and his wife, Jean, of Stuart, Florida; one brother-in-law, Douglas Hoerber and his wife, Susan, of Lantana, Florida; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. As per Robert's request, no services are planned. Memorials may be made to Haywood Regional Medical Center Hospice, 560 Leroy George Drive, Clyde, NC 28721 or to a charity of one's choice.
