Robert Hennessee

Clyde - Robert Joyce "Bob" Hennessee, age 83, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2015 at his residence. A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Robert and Margaret Goodson Hennessee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Lee Allen. Bob was a graduate of Clyde High School, and was a veteran of the Army National Guard. He was employed as a foreman with Lea Industries. His family and friends affectionately referred to him as "Bob" and "Paw". His family is appreciative for teaching them the art of fishing and hunting. Robert is survived by two daughters, Lesa Norris and her husband, Steve, of Clyde, and Debra Shook and her husband, Mike, of Newton, NC; three grandchildren, Scott Moses, Windy Lamb and her fiancé, Christopher Stevens, and Jessica Lamb Fredell and her husband, Mike; and six great-grandchildren.
