Robert Howell

Robert K. Howell, 86, of Asheville, passed away on Sunday, February 05, 2017. A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Herman and Alice Nelon Howell. Robert served in the US Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred McFalls Howell; sisters, Aileen Kuykendall and Kay Green and brothers, Maurice and Larry Howell.
Robert is survived by his daughters, Barbara Quattrone, Kathy Stryker and Crystal Myers; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, February 9th in the Chapel of Faith, Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels, Four Seasons Hospice or the Charles George VA Medical Center.
