Robert Hutchinson

Waynesville, Robert Bryan "Hutch" Hutchinson, age 47 passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. Born December 16, 1961 in Queens, New York, he was the son of the late Robert O. and Margarita Moreno Hutchinson. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Edward R. Hutchinson; his maternal grandparents, Edward and Maria Lemus and his paternal grandparents, Robert and Elizabeth Hutchinson. Robert was employed, for 22 years, at Ken Wilson Ford as parts manager. He was a member of the American Legion Post #47 and the Waynesville Moose Lodge. He loved animals, especially his dog, Macie, and he enjoyed camping, fishing and NASCAR racing. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Colleen Savage; her sons, Jeremiah Lamica and Rickie Cramer, Jr. both of Waynesville; a sister, Karen Wyatt and her husband, Michael, of Waynesville; three brothers, Lyndon Chafin of Clyde, Michael Hutchinson and his wife, Brenda, of Maggie Valley, and Richard Hutchinson and his wife, Jackie, of Waynesville; several nieces and nephews, Anthony Hutchinson and his wife Myra, Dewaine Wyatt, Michele C. Summey, Katara Hutchinson, Heather Wyatt, Quinton Hutchinson, Nichole Conner, Hunter Chafin, and Jonathan Conner; and great nieces and nephews, Madalynn, Zander, Madison, Carter, and Emily. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at Wells Funeral Home in Waynesville. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 19, 2009 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Greg Metcalf and Mr. Dean Minzenmayer officiating. At other times, the family and friends will gather at the decedent's residence. Honorary pallbearers will be Burk Sherrill, Ray James, David Cryan, Roger Mintz, Arthur Conner, Kurt Whitley, Mark Mann, Danny Washburn, and Rodney Lundsford.
