Spring Creek, NC-Robert Anthony Nadol, Jr., age 62, of 1200 Howard Moore Road, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, November 2, 2005. He was born in Oakland, California and had resided in California most of his life and had moved to Madison County two years ago. He was a former trucking supervisor and was a self-employed contractor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, racecars, boats, and motorcycles. He was also a girls' softball coach. Robert was a diehard fan of the Oakland Raiders Football Team. He was preceded in death by his mother, Zelda Idis Brown Nadol, and a brother, Fred Jon Nadol. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Cheryl Matheny "Cheri" Nadol, his father, Robert Anthony Nadol, Sr. of Lafayette, CA; one daughter, Stacey Ann Nadol Pavlina and her husband, Rudy, of Spring Creek, NC; two sons, Michael Robert Anthony Nadol and his wife, Christine, of Nashville, TN and Bret Anthony Coggiola and his wife, Andrea, of Brentwood, CA; one sister, Janet Ann Nadol, of Lafayette, CA; five grandchildren, Nicholas Robert Tommy Nadol, Nathan Michael Nadol, Cole Slater Meyers, Alexis Bianca Coggiola, and Gianna Nicola Coggiola; a sister-in-law, Nancy Matheny, of Walnut Creek, CA; an aunt and uncle, Eve and John Emerson, of Jamestown, CA; and his pet dog, "Stoney."
