Robert Queen

Robert Wayne Queen, Sr., 86, of Asheville, passed away, Sunday, May 1, 2016. He was born in Durham, NC to the late O.C. and Della Smith Queen. Robert served as an MP in the Army during World War II and Korea and was retired from ABF Freight.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Dorothy Jean McKinney Queen and Patricia Ann Sherrill and daughter, Marsha Christine Queen Price.
He is survived by his son, Robert Queen, Jr.; sister, Aronia Brown and many nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, May 5 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Faith, Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn on Thursday from 9:45-10:45AM.
