Robert Rhinehart

Clyde, Robert W. Rhinehart, age 78, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at his residence. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Derry and Girlie Rhinehart. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Delphia H. Rhinehart, who died in 2008; an infant son, Robert Wesley Rhinehart; three sisters and one brother. Dobbin worked for a Carpet Industry in Dalton Georgia, before moving back to Haywood County, where he was a truck driver and later drove a bus for Mountain Projects. He loved his family and enjoyed his animals. He is survived by five daughters, Marilyn Stanley (Ray) of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, Vicky Thomason (Junior) of Dalton, Georgia, Tammy Silvers (Charlene) of Calhoun, Georgia, Paula Soi (Lee Bair) of Clyde and Panzy Barnes of Hickory, NC; five sons, Larry Rhinehart (Debbie) of Calhoun, Georgia, John Williams (Kim) of Waynesville, Charles Rhinehart (Lisa) of Clyde, Chris Rhinehart of Waynesville and Adam Rhinehart and his fiancée, Nicole, of Candler; four sisters, Mary Phillips, Georgia Earley, Eva Williams and Patricia Mull all of Waynesville; one brother, Michael Rhinehart of Clyde; 32 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren and a special friend, Barbara McDonald. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 2, 2013 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Kenneth Rhinehart and Reverend Steve Rhinehart officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
