Robert Russell

Clyde, Robert Lee Russell, age 48, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native and lifetime resident of Haywood County, he was the son of Margaret Jenkins Russell and the late Rob Russell. He was employed at UPM Raflatac and worked in the Shipping Department. Robert loved spending time with his family and enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his mother, he was survived by his wife of 19 years, Donna Messer Russell; a daughter, Farrah Russell; a son, Carson Russell, all of Clyde; his grandmother, Ruth Jenkins of Waynesville; and numerous aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Billy Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Smith, Chad Lanning, Calvin Justice, Rodney Moore and Ronnie and Gary Teaster. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
