Robert Stinnett

Canton - Robert Alan "Bobby" Stinnett, age 58, died Friday, December 20, 2002 at his residence.

He was a native of Haywood County and was the son of the late Charles Nelson and Mazie Patton Stinnett. He was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Ann Stinnett.

He was an employee of Blue Ridge Paper Products and a member of West Canton Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife of 16 years, Linda Holcombe Stinnett of Canton, he is survived by two daughters, Leanna M. Evans and Rachel Bryson both of Canton; a son, Robert Alan Stinnett, II of MA; two step-sons, Ricky Pless of Canton and Scott Mathews of Hendersonville; two brothers, Charles N. Stinnett, Jr. of AL and James R. Stinnett of Canton as well as five grandsons and two granddaughters.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 23rd at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Wayne Carson officiating. Burial will follow at Patton Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence.
