Clyde-Robert James Warren, age 72, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at his residence in Clyde. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late J.V. and Hazel Fuller Warren. In honor and celebration of our father's life, we recognize his sacrifice and service in the US Air Force of more than 20 years. Our daddy loved to be surrounded by his family. One of his greatest joys was watching the grand and great grand kids growing up around him. His second favorite was to playfully annoy our mother with love and admiration. We will remember all these times-See you in Heaven Daddy. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Maria Warren; daughters, Maria Barta and her husband, John and Anna M. Warren; a son, Robert Warren and his wife, Kimberly; his siblings, Dean Warren and his wife, Marie, Ronnie Warren and his wife, Ruth and Brenda Leatherwood and her husband, Charles; granddaughters, Marti Barta, Brittany Butler and her husband, Brandon, and Nikki Farmer; grandsons, Austin Warren and Caleb Kelly; great granddaughters, Hailee and Raegan Butler;and great grandsons, Haystin and Gage Kelly. A graveside memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, June 22, 2012, at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain with Chaplain Larry Fowler officiating. Corinthians: 1:4 I always thank God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus.
