Robert Willetts

Robert Justin Willetts, age 24 died Saturday, July 11, 2009 at his residence. A native of New Hanover County, he was a son of Kathryn Hill Willetts of Canton and Robert Arnold Willetts, Jr. of Clyde. Justin lived most of his life in Haywood County. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert A. Willetts, Sr. and his maternal grandfather, Charlie Lawson Hill, Jr. Justin liked a variety of music and enjoyed skate boarding. He also enjoyed activities like swimming, fishing and spending time with his Dad watching drag races. Justin gave 110% at everything he did. The last three years, the most important thing to Justin was spending time with his son. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a fiancée, Erica Hartrick of Leicester; one son, Logan Lawson Willetts; a half-brother, Jeremy Scott Hill of Nathalie, VA; a sister, Rhiannon Marie Willetts of Canton; paternal grandmother, Nancy Bell Willetts of Clyde; maternal grandmother, Audrey Vassar Hill of Nathalie, VA; one nephew, Quinlan Vos Mathewes; and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2009 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Kenneth Rhinehart officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
