Robert Woodlief

Waynesville, Robert E. Woodlief, age 64, of Apple Creek Road, died on Friday, June 6, 2008, at Memorial Mission Hospital. He was a native of Franklin County, NC and a former resident of Hollywood, FL and had lived in Haywood County for the past 15 years. He was a retired paint fabricator for Sun Stream Jet Center in Ft. Lauderdale and had worked at Haywood Ace Hardware for the past few years. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Janice Woodlief; two sons, Mark E. Woodlief and his wife, Amy, and Eric J. Woodlief and his wife, Rachel, all of Waynesville; two daughters, Barbara A. Klar and her husband, Sean, of Port Angeles, WA and Michelle L. McCord and her husband, Ronald, of Miramar, FL; two sisters, Lois Stratton and her husband, Thomas, of Maggie Valley and Alice Charriot of Norwalk, CT; two brothers, William F. Woodlief of Maggie Valley and Louis H. Woodlief and his wife, Madeline, of Davie, FL; three grandchildren, Jameson, Jennifer, and Tyler Woodlief; and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Darryl Hannah officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
