Roberta Hart

September 17, 1947 — April 29, 2006

Waynesville-Roberta Joan Blickenstaff Hart, 58, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2006 after a long struggle with cancer. A native of Delphi, IN, and a resident of Haywood County for the last twelve years, she was the daughter of Betty Blickenstaff of Delphi, IN and the late Robert Lee Blickenstaff. She was a self-employed investment broker for 12 years who was very dedicated to all of her clients. Prior to working as an investment broker, she worked as a district manager for H & R Block. She was a very caring and devoted daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her mother, she is also survived by one daughter, Michelle Schwartz; one son, Michael Scott Schwartz; one sister, Diana High and husband, Bill, of California; two brothers, Steve Blickenstaff and wife, Cheryl, of Indiana, Michael Blickenstaff and wife, Tammy, of Tennessee; one granddaughter, Alexis Schwartz, of Waynesville; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville followed by a time of sharing memories by family and friends. Friends and family may share in the service by submitting a memory or inspirational thought, that will be read at the service through the Wells Funeral Home website. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 90 Stiles Road, Canton, NC 28716.
