Rochelle Robinson

August 3, 1939 — February 1, 2005

Waynesville-Rochelle C. Robinson, age 65, of 10 Estes Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 01, 2005 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Nora Rhinehart Curtis. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Reba Wyatt; a son, Joseph B. Robinson; and an infant brother. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, flower gardening, and never knew a stranger. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Reverend Jack R. Robinson; two sons, Barry Robinson and his wife, Sharon, of Anderson, SC and Matthew Robinson and his wife, Debbie, of Canton, NC; three sisters, Janie Love of Greensboro, NC, Sarah Dixon of Newport News, VA, and Edna Henson of Cruso, NC; four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 3, 2005 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Johnny Swanger, Reverend Carl Presnell, and Reverend Allen Blanton officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at the funeral home, and at other times, the family will be at the home. Memorials may be given to Haywood Regional Medical Center Hospice, 560 Leroy George Drive, Clyde, NC 28721.
