Rodney Burnette

Canton- Rodney Hardin Burnette - age 39 of 1203 Sonoma Road died Thursday, March 30, 2006 at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and a son of Harry and Doris Hardin Burnette. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Dollie Hardin and one aunt, Francis Mann. Rodney was a very special person and was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all. He attended Haywood County Schools and was a loyal Pisgah High School football fan. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Terry and his wife, Barbara Burnette of Asheville and Dr. Michael Burnette and his wife, P.K. of Tampa, FL; one niece, Alexis Burnette and one nephew, Sean Burnette both of Tampa, FL. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 2, 2006 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Brad Holliman and Mr. Buddy Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.
