Rom Johnson

Rom Johnson, age 79, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at The Homestead. A native of Greensboro, he was the son of the late E. J. Johnson and Anne Perdue. Mr. Johnson along with his wife, Lauri, owned and operated Identifind label, a company that they funded together. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lauri Platt Johnson, two daughters, Lauri L. Hinchcliffe and her husband, Matthew, of Oceanside, California and Deborah A. Hembree and her husband, James, of Leicester; two sons, Joseph Jonhson and his wife, Kathy, of Asheville and John D. Johnson and his wife, Michelle, of Valley Center, California; two half sisters; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Private services will be held at a later date.
