Ron O'Neil

Ron O'Neil "1971 – 2013" Canton – Ron Aaron " Booger" O'Neil, age 42, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013 at his residence. A native of Haywood County, he was a son of Willard Terry O'Neil and the late Allie Carol Carter O'Neil. Ron was a graduate of Pisgah High School and loved playing the guitar. He enjoyed art, animals, and spending time in the outdoors, especially fishing. In addition to his father, he is survived by two sisters, Carol Lynn Burrell and her husband, Tim, and Terry O'Neil, all of Canton; one brother, Frank Allen O'Neil of Bryson City; and many other beloved extended family members. A gathering to celebrate Ron's life will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Beaverdam Community Center, 1620 North Canton Road in Canton. Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
