Ronald Hamlett

Ronald Cole "Ron" Hamlett, age 48, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at his residence. A native of Haywood County, he was a son of the late Clyde Vernon and Betty Jean Miller Hamlett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Sam Grady and Vera Cole Hamlett and his maternal grandparents, Alvin and Margaret Miller. Ron was affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America Troop #301. He is survived by two brothers, Doug Hamlett of Augusta, Georgia and Mike "Hambone" Hamlett of Canton. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 21, 2012 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend James A. Meadows officiating.
