Ronald Miller

Ronald (Bounce) Lee Miller, age 61, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 20, 2012 with his family and close friends by his side. He was a native and lifelong resident of Candler and a son of the late Floyd Miller and Mairl Pressley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his younger brother, Mike Miller. Ronnie thoroughly enjoyed Duke basketball, working the chains for Enka on Friday nights, playing golf, and hanging out with friends and family at his car lot. Ron treasured spending time with his family and he was very proud of his two children. Ronnie was loved by all who knew him. He was a beloved spouse, devoted father, and a loyal friend. Ronnie enjoyed life to the fullest and greeted everyone with a friendly smile and a witty sense of humor. He will live in our hearts forever. He is survived by his love of 26 years, Lori Moser; two children, Nathan and Lauren Miller; three brothers, Gary, Jerry, and Ben Miller; and seven nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September 24, 2012 at Brownsview United Methodist Church with the Reverend Woody Wiggins and James Fenwick officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
