Ronnie Green

Waynesville-Ronnie Henry Green, age 57, of 27 Glenwood Drive, died August 5, 2003 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Henry Arvil and Ethel Price Green. He was an electrician at BASF for 22 years and retired in 1993. He was a member of Holly Grove Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Janie S. Green; a daughter, Rhonda Rogers, and her husband, Dewayne, of Waynesville; two sons, Timothy Ronnie Green and his wife, Melody, and Brian Green and his wife, Tina, both of Waynesville; two brothers, Douglas Green, of Dallas, NC and Doyle Green of Waynesville; three grandchildren, Brianna Green, Dakota Green, and Morgan Rogers.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2003 at Holly Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Jerry Nelson, Reverend Robert Elliott, and Reverend Ned Pressley officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2003 at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
