Rosa Wells

Rosa Belle Wells, age 71, died Friday, October 3, 2008, at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Rob and Rosa Trull Wells. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Andrew, Mingus, and Wiley Wells and six sisters, Marie, Bertha, Linda Kay, Pansey, Ruby, and Myrtle. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for pre-school age children. She was a member of the Cruso Volunteer Fire Department ladies auxiliary. She is survived by two sisters, Connie Hays of Stuart, FL and Hazel Wells of Canton; a brother, Ervin Wells of Blairsville, GA; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2008, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. Perry Brindley, Reverend Heath Davis, and Reverend Harry Worley officiating. Burial will follow at New Cruso Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
