Rosalyn Mills

Waynesville, Rosalyn Cowan Mills, age 72, of Bradley Street, died on Friday, January 2, 2009 at her residence. A native of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Issac and Olivia Lunsford Cowan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Eddie Jane Cowan and Barbara C. McGoldrick; three brothers, Scott, Ralph, and Forrest Cowan; and one granddaughter, Kalista Mills. Rosalyn was an employee of Dayco for 32 years. She enjoyed flowers and spending time with her family. She is survived by a son, Craig Mills, of Waynesville; two sisters, Colleen Cowan of Texas, Winnie Warren of Ohio; two brothers, Perry Cowan of Sylva and Gerald Cowan of Atlanta, GA; one grandson, Chris Miller and his wife, Christie, of Hickory; two granddaughters, Kirby and Tiffany Mills of Waynesville; and two great grandsons, Cade and Jace Miller.
