Rose Ammons

September 29, 1944 — November 15, 2003

Waynesville-Rose Marie Ammons, age 59, of Community Care #4, formerly of Wolfpen Road, died Saturday, November 15, 2003 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Eva Inman Ammons. She was employed by Haywood Vocational Opportunities for 15 years. She enjoyed collecting dolls and salt and pepper shakers.

She is survived by three brothers, Charles Ammons and his wife, Dot, and Ray Ammons, both of Waynesville and Roger Ammons and his wife, Kathy, of Sylva.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2003 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend G.W. Jameson officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Catherine, David, Terry and Michael Ammons, Billy McMullen and Terry Allen.
