Rosie Reynolds

Rosie D. Reynolds, age 87, died on Monday, April 4, 2011, at her residence. She was a native of Haywood County but had resided in Buncombe County for the last 60 years. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Vert and Martha Gaddy Robinson. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Theresa Daniel Demos; three brothers, Russell, Roger, and Jack Robinson; and three sisters, Frances Gossett, Genevie Bradley, and Georgia Wright. Rosie was actively involved in Edgewood Baptist Church, serving as her class secretary. She was always studying the Bible or working in her beautiful garden. She is survived by a son, Eddie Reynolds and his wife, Angela; two daughters, Judy Davis and her husband, Gene, and Brenda Lance and her husband, Ken, all of Asheville; a sister, Abangelean Wheeler of Candler; four grandchildren, Joseph Daniels, Tami Atkins, Brandi Ayers, and Tia Reynolds Howell; four great-grandchildren, Justin and Tyler Demos and Sydney and Matthew Daniels; and several nieces and nephews Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2011, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Pastor Lewis Gibson and Reverend Charles Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
