Rowena Morris

Rowena Williams Morris, age 91, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Randolf and Della Wilson Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank "Paddle" Morris. She retired from Champion International with more than 40 years of service and was a member of Plains United Methodist Church. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. A committal service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2013 at The Horizon at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with the Reverend Dustin James officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home of Canton.
